So, by now all movie lovers have visited Innovative Multiplex atleast once. May be they would be able to relate with this piece.
To start with the movie watching experience, other than better seats and cleaner appearance, its pathetic. My home theatre syntem makes better sound with less distortion than the multiplex system. (some would say offcourse...what about it). There is something really wrong about the accoustic and speaker arrangement of the hall, which makes the sound so bitter and eye piercing. You go to symphony or Rex..or the old demolished Lido..or even Naga, the sound is much better there.
Then comes the silly first row of balcony.. I don't know why can't we sue the theatre owner for the high wall which cuts the movie to 3/4th from this seat.
Now the peripherals, which make or break the day..
Drive: You know it better.. last 100 meters to multiplex are most horrifying.
Parking: Pathetic..Don't know how it got approved.
Entry: Ok, but could have been better.
Food.. same old story.. overpriced things, unhygenic, lot of plastic.
Exit: Now here is the typical indian buisnessmen. Once you have paid money and got your product (movie), to hell with you. walk through the two wheeler parking lot with just enough width. Don't know how these hall get approval for fire exits and all.
Guys, infrastucture in every scale on our country lacks the basics and we still have a lot more to expect from our people.
