For those who live in Airport Road, Whitefield or areas in between, the Innovative Multiplex is perhaps the only easy entertainment. Easy because, all the others are reached only after wading through totally frustrating traffic.
When it launched, it was the first "multiplex" in Bangalore and attracted a lot of hype. In my many visits in it's first year, the whole place seemed to be on an interminable roll. There was a restaurant complex called VENS nearby that I was planning to check out. However, that was not to be. PVR and INOX opened. That took away all of the crowds. VENS closed down.
This turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Innovative Multiplex is not crowded anymore. For people who stay nearby, telebooking works out well. The numbers are available on: INNOVATIVE MULTIPLEX TELEBOOKING NUMBER. https://chandradip.blogspot.com/2006/03/innovative-multiplex-tele-booking.html
There are a few decent restaurants opposite the Multiplex nowadays. Cars are parked on the side of the Outer Ring Road itself, though a Deputy Commissioner's missive inside the theater says it is not allowed. The grub inside the theater is not advisable. Popcorn and tea is probably the safest. The seats inside the four halls are decent and nowadays it is not crowded at all on weekdays - a good choice for those staying nearby. Gold class (balcony) is marginally extra over the silver (stalls) and is recommended.
