This place is built just to make money.
I was so amazed looking at the website and was expecting a lot from a'film city'!
So I planned to go there with my friend who had come to visit Bangalore and I literally spoiled her day and mine! There are a few museums with very general stuff about movies. The rides were are closed because of maintenance, the scary house was closed and nothing else is interesting.
The only fun stuff we did was the roller coaster(small one though) which you can ride only once with your ticket and zip line for which you have to pay!
The dinosaur park is nice to look at but is lame! And then comes the water games! Horrible!
There is nothing other than two slides and a pool which they call'beach' or something.
They need A LOT of improvement if they have to make the place better and I think, they should not advertise about the rides and stuff until they are actually open!
It is such waste of time!
Talking about food in that place, as usual, there are famous restaurant outlets but they don't really make good food as they do in their own place. It is as well a waste!
Going to that place without a vehicle is difficult, there are rickshaw people who will want to cut your pocket and drain your money! It is around 3 to 4 kilometers from the main road and they charge you around 100 or 150. They asked for 150Rs but later settled for 100.*There are no bmtc buses that go to the place. There is one bus which goes in the morning at some time which they didn't even know and comes back late in the evening when everybody would have returned!
The place was so boring that we spent only around 34 hours, wasted our money and came back! The worst experience of my life in a film city.
Nothing is amusing, they have seriously built it just to make money! Your ticket is just for entrance and a few museums and for all the cool stuff, even if they open it, they charge you extra!
