After reading all the contradictory reviews, you must be confused. Should I visit or not?

Well, I visited for the 2nd time on 29th April. I had a few guests and they wanted to visit. 7 of us, 4 adults, 3 children including one 1 year old toddler set off for IFC around 11 AM. I had my car, so I am not aware of any other transport facilities available(though did not see any thing which suggested that there are buses available directly to this place).

For a change, there was parking available inside the campus. And no parking charges. So far so good. Tickets were priced at 299 or 499. The only difference between the two is that the lter includes the Aqua Park(wave pool, water games etc). None of us were interested in the Aqua Park, so all of us bought the 299 Rs tickets(wow, since I was the sponsor, it was definitely a good news for my wallet, LOL). Oh, also, there are charges for camera(still and video separate).

There was a big photo session in the entrance, a good place I must admit for taking photos. Once inside, we went first to the Teddy Park. There are lot of Teddys, various shapes, very nicely laid out. Our toddler fan was absolutely ecstatic. I think I got my money's worth just by looking at her laughs. She was just thrilled.

We then spent the next few hours visting various attractions. The ticket allows unlimited visits to almost all the attractions and rides. Till about 6 PM, we just went around and completely enjoyed. A day and money very well spent. My guests were very happy and so was I.

if this was my experience, why then people get so unhappy here. I think I have a few answers. Let me try to explain below and see if this will help you to take a decision.

The three major problems listed in these reviews are:

a) It is too costly and b) attractions are not maintained well, c) Takes a long time to visit.

a) What I have seen is that the pricing keeps getting changed and you are happy or unhappy with the deal u get. As I said, in this visit, Rs 299 was enough for a person to enjoy a lot of attractions and rides. We did not spend a single rupee extra and enjoyed to the hilt.

b) I found most of the attractiosn to be reasonably ok. Mind u, you will not see most of these attractions anywhere. So for a first timer, it is definitely worth visiting.

c) Never ever visit on a week-end or a holiday. I don't think they are equipped to handle large crowds(for that matter who is?). I purposely went on a friday and had a swell of a time.

Finally a few more points:

a) Go with less expectation and u will enjoy. Many of u have seen them in US, UK, Singapore. But remember, most of us can not afford to go to these countries. A Rs 300 or 500 is much cheaper.

b) Go with a view to enjoy and with an open mind. I interacted with almost all the attendants. They were friendly, helpful and did not find a single one to be rude. It might change with complaining customers on a crowdy day and u see those unhappy reviews.

c) The place is huge, must have costed a bomb to produce and maintain. If they do not charge some money, they will have to close down.

Hey, I do not know the management, so pls be assured that this one is not a paid review.

Have a great time

Cheers
