I think sathian anthikkad really needs improvement in the direction part. Else he wouldn't have made a movie like "Innathe chintavishayam". The story starts with 3 ladies and all of them are on the verge of a divorce. The first one is sukanya and her reason for the divorce is her playboy husband(mukesh). Next in line is mohini(yes the same mohini who acted in punjabi house).
Her reason is that her husband(vijaya raghavan) is toooooooooooooooo possessive on her. Third in line is the lady who appears in all sathian movies. In her case her husband(asokan) is not allowing her to take up a job because of their conservative thinkings. And now arrive our hero Mr. Mohanlal. He runs a textile business and bought a house from sukanya's huband(mukesh) and reaches the new place with his servant mamukoya. But alas our sukanya wasn't aware of this transaction and she refuses to move out. So what can the hero do now? Move into a flat in which the construction is going on.
Time progresses and the hero becomes close to the 3 ladies I have mentioned above. And each of them starts developing a soft corner towards our hero. I don't for what reason director has brought this up. Later in one scene the hero reaches his apartment and becomes surprised after seeing all his clothes on the top of the building kept nicely. Kudos to our heroine meera jasmine who landed up from nowhere to become lalettan's secretary. Meanwhile meera and lal develops a plot to bring back the couples who were on a verge of a divorce and succeeds in the end. But altogether the film has a artificial look. In between they shows the background of our heroine. Her father played by siddique dies while attemting a bike ride and her so-called relatives try to pull her into a marriage which she didn't like. She fights back for her share of her father's property, gets it and pursues her studies. And that's how she lands as the secretary of our hero. Finally the duo manage to bring back the couples and they return back to their new house to start a new life of their dreams and passion.....blah...blah...blah....This is what sathian anthikkad had in his mind. But the outcome was totally disappointing....I am having second thoughts on watching the next movie directed by "SATHIAN ANTHIKKAD".
