I am an employee of ING, it has been 15 months on board...my branch environment in really awesome, it a place where you learn MUST DO attitude and a nice working atmosphere.
This company has explicit career opportunity for all, where the individual has to decide where to keep him in his career. A strong leadership quality can can be adhered in this company.
What I like the most about this company is; everyone gets ample time to prove their caliber and it's not like many of the insurance companies which I have heard, just squeezing people and chucking them out when they are empty. it gives equal importance to everyone. My first 8 months really ruined me..because I couldn't contribute to my branch and personal cause. I was able to finish my 1st appraisal cycle with 4th category. Even though the management wished to retain me because of my sincerity towards work on the first despite of my average performance. But the company gave me a chance to prove my self..this year I AM TOPPING THE ENTIRE BRANCH in all parameters. You know why, its because of my BMs long term vision.
So my suggestion for people who would like to join ING; Take this place as a Talent pool if you are smart if not take it as knowledge house. INGs value is much bigger than what you see.
I am sure in the near future this company will lead Indian life insurance industry because of its long term vision and work in progress and moreover the INSPIRATION TO WIN AND LEAD
