For movie, reading n loads of browsing.
The mall officially opens at 11 am except for its multiplex [which opens as per its show timings], and they really heed to it! I happen to know because, due to some weird reason I reached there by around 10 am… all I could do was book a movie ticket and sit inside and call people n talk to them over the phone… but after 11 am, there was no end to what I could do.
The place has lot many good brands with quite decent collection. There’s a crowd for the regular mall shopping, then there is one for grocery shopping at food bazaar, another one to read books at Landmark, yet another people who come to watch a movie at Cinemax and finally the window-shoppers or people who just wanna enjoy the food court. :) The food court serves various cuisines with coffee shops and corn man and candy floss and what not.
This place has a really pretty way of decorating itself during all the possible occasions. The hangings and everything. They are really inviting. Also, the various events that are held many days in an year keeps the crowd occupied.
A funny but serious incident happened the other day; in the usually kept-clean washroom. The cleaner was so pissed… she was like “hell! So many literate people don’t know how to flush or keep it clean, ‘some’ great man has truly said that we illiterate lot are far better than them.”
I mentioned it here, not as a part of the review but just to pass her message to the few people reading this one.:)
The mall is a blessing to the Lokhandwala, Veera Desai and other surrounding areas coz u always need a place like this to hang out. Sometimes it does gets over to your nerve that ‘God! Isn’t there any other place to go to?’ Yes, there are, but the reason why you chose this one surely means it has lot many things it calls you for, even when you think you must go some place else.
