Infibeam one of the worst place to buy books. Review on Infibeam

I am a professional writer. I buy lots of books. Lately online shopping has become my preferred way to buy books. I started to use infibeam around a five years back. First few books which I ordered came on time. I was happy. But last time when I ordered the books it took a life time to reach my parcel to me.

I also have following problems with Infibeam.com-They use pathetic courier services. May be to save cost, the courier services they use have done all kinds of things with my books,  "360 degree courier" delivered my book to a neighbor. I had to call them multiple times to receive my book. This time it has been worst, the Professional Courier service gave me horrible time. Finally, I had to drive to the office of the Professional Couriers to collect my shipment.

Addition to my horrific experience with Infibeam.com

I had stopped using infibeam for 2 years and used to chose Flipkart.com as they are always bang on time in delivering the products. But as infibeam offer second hand books also- I started using it again. My mistake!

I have placed an order for a book which was suppose to come 5 days back. It has been with the courier for last 5 days.

I don't know at what point infibeam will learn that they have to use efficient courier service. The courier- India on Time express pvt. Ltd- which Infibeam is using to deliver all my books to me is such pathetic service. Their agent calls me 4-5 times- for each delivery to confirm my address- no kidding- first call would be to ask my society and flat no. second to ask flat no. from the gate of society- third would be from downstairs to confirm flat no. Again!! Yesterday their delivery boy called me from downstairs- should I come upstairs to give the book- I wanted to say- no the book will fly to me- just flip it in the air. The courier guy came and ask me "chai-paani" ka paisa. Seriously!! Now I am determined that I will never use infibeam to purchase anything and I would give the same advice to anyone. If for any unavoidable reason a person has to use infibeam. please use the cash on delivery option ONLY. Infibeam sucks!!
