I have been a long time customer of Infibeam primarily because I am working outside of India, and need to send gifts to friend and family, on special occasions. They seem to be the only vendor who claim they deliver in all the places in India.


The review in question is a Jaipan 52 piece dinner set [Order Number 10791675, Dated 20th May]. My card was charged on the same day - this was a marriage gift to someone hence beyond a certain point I cannot push the gift recipient to keep a track.


The Order status on their site shows "Shipped" which is not the case. Their courier "Aarya Logistics" had the guts to ask the recipient What was their problem, as " it's a gift which someone else had paid for ". I have never seen such an instance of Customer Care anywhere else.


Delays may happen, but what is unsettling is that I have contacted their customer care at least 3 times during these 3 weeks and have always got an assurance that its being "looked after". I am not getting a Response/ Update on my emails from their customer care. They seem to have restricted "Contact Us" page in such a way that its not accepting Canada number as a valid number anymore (+1 is not accepted). I tried calling their US number but they aren't picking it up either.


Just for reference, this is the status of my past orders:


My Learning : certain things never improve. I honestly gave them leeway for goofing up in these 4 instances and made a mistake to rely on them, but it looks like I am taken granted as a customer.


1) Order # 7422898 (Sweets): The complete package was delivered in rotten (stinking) state


2) I also sent a Samsung Camera way ahead of a special occasion - it was received weeks later.


3) I had sent 2 Titan fasttrack watches. Order # 7504896 was promptly delivered and for Order # 7507164 was delivered many days later.


4) For Order # 7504319 (Titan watches), their courier company called my relatives and asked them to collect it from Ranchi, because they do not deliver to their place.


I have provided references for my review as a basis of my low rating and I hope they would take care to improve these areas.
