I want to share my experience with Infibeam & its Team, which shows its true color.


I made purchase of Dell BYTE Corseca Bluetooth headphones from Infibeam via Order ID no. 17022631 on 13-10-2015 which I received it on 19-10-2015. I really felt great about it, as it was ordered by my Fiancée. But that crazy excitement, that feeling was lost when I actually saw that product.


The product that I received was sealed open. It was really dishearten. Even then when I checked the product, it was NOT FUNCTIONING. It also HAD FEW SCRATCHES. It looked as if it is a second hand or used product.


On the same day within half an hour after I received the product on 19-10-2015, I contacted the Infibeam Service Centre over phone to raise a return request. At first I spoke with one of their associate named Sanya. She said as per their return policy they’ll need images for the package & product received. I immediately responded Infibeam by email with attached images. After around 6 hrs I got an acknowledgement for the received email stating “we have forwarded the same(Email with Attached Images) to the relevant department”.


Even after couple of days when I didn’t get any feedback from them I again emailed them to which I didn’t get any response. So I called them up & spoke to customer care personnel of INFIBEAM on 21-10-2015. This time I spoke with a guy named KAREEM who said he can’t do anything about it as he doesn’t have any update on the same. To which I told him if he can transfer the call to his Manager. He transferred the call to a guy named VINAY who is responsible for these complaints related things. I sincerely asked them to arrange the pickup for the faulty product which I received. For that he said he will check for the update & revert on the same after sometime. I told him that my phone number will not be available from 23rd evening for next whole week, so they’ll have to hurry for the same. I got a reply from him that he will get back with an update within half n hour. But to my wonder, I didn’t get any call from them till the next 4 hrs. I called them up but nobody picked-up.


Later around 5 in the evening, I got an email from a guy name UTSAV with subject “Return Confirmation 33898”, asking me to pack the received product & Print the return mailing label.

To which I did the same. I thought now it will be processed.


The next day I again called them up to ask for the time at which package(with Faulty Product) will be picked-up and spoke with NEHA. And guess what! She didn’t have any clue about what’s happening.


I really don’t know that these guys are doing there, except for being pain in customers’ asses!


I nicely asked her to connect me to her superior, but she forwarded the call to VINAY, the same guy who is handling these complaints.


You Infibeam guys always say that you don’t have any update, but still by your call forwarding to the exact person shows that you are well aware about the situation. Funny, isn’t it?


Anyways now I was connected to VINAY I thought he will be having something in favor to me, but still he didn’t have anything. I was really fed-up that time. He then transferred my call to Viral & then to Vaishali(Their last associate I spoke with). Again I told her about the situation n told her that if the package is not picked up by 23rd then my phone number will not be reachable due to some reason. In response to that she told me if she can have some other phone number for further communication. So I gave her phone number of one of my friend on the call & email as well.


I got an email acknowledgment from email about the received alternate contact number for further communication in case my primary phone number is not reachable.


Today even after 10 days, that faulty product “Dell BYTE Corseca Bluetooth headphones” is still with me. Nobody from Infibeam tried to contact me/my friend on the alternate number provided.


This was the first time I shopped from Infibeam & I learnt my lesson.


Beware of products offered on Infibeam website. They are showcasing products in lesser price compared to other competitive shopping portals, and deliver you the junks. Customer care is not at all customer friendly or I should say sensitive. It’s my recommendation, don't opt for buying products from this site.
