I had made buy of 2 lakh rupees by Induslnd credit card. I paid least sum in that statement and next statement, bank did not deduct least sum paid and applied interest charges on the whole amount. Bank said unless and until you do the entire installment, interest will be relevant on total 2 lakh rupees. Its thoroughly wrong strategy. All credit cards ought to apply loan costs to outstanding sum and each time aggregate sum due continues diminishing to next statement. Here its totally reverse, total amount due continues expanding even you pay least sum due.
