I moved to Bangalore 5 years back, I was teaching in an international school in Delhi earlier. Even after moving to Bangalore I taught in two different schools before I moved to Indus International school Bangalore. One of the reasons why I wasn't convinced to continue working there was I felt I was in a box, where I couldn't explore different techniques.
I couldn't grow as a teacher as I had to stick to the syllabus. One of the schools that I had applied for was IISB and when I started teaching here I felt I had an opportunity to make the difference. As a teacher, I was motivated towards teaching the same syllabus through technology, I was given a platform to learn better and teach better. I was motivated and found inspiration from the enthusiasm the kids have towards innovative ways of learning.
The students here understand concepts in a way that doesn't force them to remember concepts for exams. I will also have an opportunity to teach at the Indus per-schools/ early learning centers in Whitefield RMV and Koramangala. Indus international schools are definitely one of the best IB schools brand in the country. Great work!
