Me & my wife had got done a whole body check up at indraprastha hospital on 15.06.2010.I am sharing my experience with you.Right at the wellness centre , the chaos and mismanagement hits you on the face.The sheer number of people resembles a noisy railway platform with understaffed facility and equally harassed candidates for checkups.The staff has obviously long back given up on managing the things and therefore are quite oblivious to the mayhem around them & therefore seemed pretty relaxed which somehow gave us encouragement since a harassed staff is better than a relaxed staff.Anyways the tests merrily went on till late afternoon & we thought good we had a whole body chekup.
The real surprises however were yet to start.Two days later when we went to collect the reports, we had a shocker.My wife who had her gall bladder removed four years back was astounded to find it alive, healthy & kicking as per the ultrasound reports.Well we did manage to create a scene which brought in a savy looking marketing guy in medical clothes who after listening to us sounded apologetic & that is all.No complaint login was made available.Naturally we had lost all the credibility on the whole reports.
Another shocker was a increase in sugar level in my case to which the physician asked if after giving glucose I was retested after 2 hours or before that.I infact was tested within 1& half hours.The physician therefore shrugged it aside as having happened due to early test taking.Here lies the competency of staff.
The hospital charges are quite healthy at Rs.6500/-but the checkups are done ina sheer negligent manner by the incompetent staff.So guys avoid this hospital for any kind of checkups.
