I have been consulting my sister for her Terminal Stage Cancer treatment here. Basically we came to the hospital on the basis of personal contacts. The hospital is supposed to be a charitable hospital but it seems to be doing charity only for the trusties and owners of the hospital. My sister underwent two cycles of chemo here. Break up of final billing were reflecting such a weird charges that nobody with a human face and sane mind can justify that.
Apart from Medicines and consumables, enormous amounts has been charged under the head of Nursing charges, Admin Charges, Chemotherapy Charges, Other Charges for a stay of 4 hours in Day Care. Apart from Medicines we have to pay to the tune of Rs.4000/- of nonsense charges they have put on the invoice. ON top of that they were not ready to provide any justification. I even approached the CEO for the same - but he seems to be some nut guy - more worried about some Gas Connection of one of his women colleague.
It's in bad shape and a pathetic hospital - good for nothing. I strongly recommend not to approach here for anything. IN the absence of main Medical Oncologist, the makeshift oncologist Dr. Santha gave me a prescription of some other patient. We need to remove our shoes to go and meet the Goddess Dr. Santha. Her slippers seems to be sanitized by some godly water - due to which it remain clean and uninfected. God bless those who approach the hospital for treatment.
Simply pathetic. Nurses are good. The receptionists were arrogant and so were other admin staff. After two cycles of chemotherapy - condition of my sister is no better - it has worsened further. Dr. Santha's practicing License should be cancelled. Hospital has two Medical Oncologists - None of them are MD Medicine.
Above all we have little choice than to go to these money mongers. We hardly have any options. We have sharks all around.
