We have travelled globally but would like to state that Delhi airport is the worst airport we have seen to date. Reasons-1. Non-senior-citizen friendly shuttle buses in between domestic and international airport. Drivers are rude, insensitive of problems of senior and differently abled people and do not lower the base of the bus for the differently abled and senior citizens for easy climbing and deboarding. This may be due to ignorance or inconsideration. 2. All airports worldwide use coaches to ferry senior citizens and differently abled individuals. But here in this idiotic place called delhi airport one will find healthy, abled bodied people being ferried by the coaches in the international segment of the airport while the senior citizens will be seen ferried on wheel chairs by attendants with the senior citizens's relative running on the side to keep pace with the wheelchair being wheeled by attendant! What a shame! Maybe the abled-bodied people are paying the coachman money for it! 3. In the inetrnational section, you will not find any proper food to eat so be prepared to go hungry if you are on an international trip. The food street on the ground floor of international airport serves stale, cold food which is full of devil's dung or what indians call as hing. The other 2 restauarants in food court namely idli.com and curry kitchen have impolite attendants who do not even know proper english. Imagine non-english speaking ill-mannered people in international segment of the airport! And yes, funny to know that these 2 restaurants do not give pack food and give. So if you have a hungry senior citizen sitting at gate 9 or 10 and his/her relative goes to get food for her/him, she cannot get the food because the insensitive people at the counter do not give food in packed form. So the relative of the senior citizen will have to learn to catch the food in his/her palms or one will have to carry your own utensils to do the needful. What a shame! 4. No proper directions or label boards provided anywhere on the route. 5. The whole airport is a hotch-potch with no systematicity and lacking adequate seating place for the many passengers on this route. A shame for the capital airport! And you know that the label airport no. 1 put up everywhere is not earned but bought!
