The cab that brings me to work at Dell from Whitefield takes the Airport Road. I had not had my breakfast that day as I got up late. I just asked my friend about any good hotel to have food at, on the way. He recommended several hotels with Indi Joe being one of them. I just went there at about 12pm. Its tucked away in a corner at Carlton towers near the Domlur Flyover.
I asked a waiter for a table. I told him that I am the only one and had not reserved a table. Although almost all the tables were empty at that time, but they all had "Reserved" markers on the table. He told me that he would get a bar table for me to have food. I thought he was just punishing me for not reserving and dropping by just like that. I was on the verge of losing my temper.
But the food was very inviting. I could not have just walked away. Maybe that made me stay there. Later on, I found that all the tables were indeed reserved, because there were no free table by 1pm. There was a huge crowd by 1.15pm.
Hotels mean food first. Food was very good here. Amazing range, most of them sizzlers at the buffet. It was wholesome food, unlike normal food at restaurants which you cant eat much. Feels like heaven. I could not enjoy it much though, as I was the only person using the bar table. And I was feeling that everyone were watching me. The crowd and the people here were very friendly though. I left early without filling myself to my hearts content.
