They are simply cheats. Never give your articles to Indigo Packers and Movers. They don’t have any other branches. What I would suggest is that never give your order to any of the movers and packers from the place called mahipalpur in delhi as most of them are cheaters. Please read my story below…
In Nov 2014, I had to shift my house to Indore from Delhi. As any person without much knowledge in moving house hold articles across cities, I also started calling multiple packers who had advertised themselves as the No 1 packers and movers in India. And finally I decided to zero in on Indigo Packers and Movers as they offered with the least quote. I came to know that they have their office in mahipalpur and also in kalkaji, New delhi.
A person named Irshad Khan, will come to your house as soon as you call them to inspect the house hold items and give a quote. He will come with a tablet and talk in such a way that you will completely trust him. He will negotiate with you and send you a quotation immediately through his tablet to your email ID.
As one sees his polite behaviour and his tablet, it will be easily misunderstood that he is from a very reputed company as said in their website.(https://indigopackers.com/) .He promised me that he will give complete bill of materials, authentic invoice on the day of dispatch etc..
On the day of packing, they sent two illiterate boys who do not even know how to stick a cello tape properly. They did not bring any packing material with them on the day of packing. Once I started shouting at them, they went to the nearby market and got some bubble packs and cargo sheet and somehow I managed to make them pack everything.
They even started to argue with me that my DTH antenna cannot be packed and will get shipped directly without any packing. At that instant itself I understood their quality but I was running out of time as it was my last day in Delhi( the next day I had booked tickets for me and my family) and I need to race with time. So half-heartedly I gave my articles to them and they shipped the articles to their local go down in mahipalpur, promising me that the articles would be shipped on the very next day to Indore. Once they loaded their local van with my articles, I asked for the invoice and bill of materials.
Irshad said that he will just sign in a piece of paper if I can write down the list of articles in it. And nothing else he had to offer as a proof of authenticity. At this moment I was sure that I’m getting cheated, but nothing else I can do as all my articles are now in their custody with their people dominating my house and taken control of the situation. I’m in soup now!!! and nothing else I can do about it other than to plead before him for proper delivery.
After three days I got a call from a person named Jitender with a threatening voice. He said that the articles are not shipped and he asked me to deposit a very huge amount to his bank account (almost double the amount he quoted initially).
Now I'm in soup. My article worth lakhs are with him. I don’t have any valid proof against them. He didn’t pick my calls whenever I tried to contact him. In this situation I was in doubt if he will send me the articles even after depositing the amount to his account. And almost two weeks passed. I was going through mental agony, totally frustrated and finally I decided to take chance and deposited the said amount in his account. And their phone numbers remained unreachable once I filled their account with the money. After one week of deposition, I got a call from a local courier guy from Indore. He said that my articles have reached and asked for the delivery address. I gave my address. I was shocked to see what they brought as the delivery goods. Out of all my house hold articles, 70 % of the articles were missing. All the wooden furnitures were broken. This was my experience with Indigo packers and movers.
So never trust anyone from the area called mahipalpur. This is just one experience I would like to share with the public.
