So happy that Bandra, now has its very own Indigo. I used to visit the Andheri branch, often. Didn’t quite like the location but it was better than going all the way to Colaba, just for a meal.
Bandra Indigo, tucked away in the corner of Pali village is a little more vibrant and roomy than its Andheri counterpart. The décor is simple and classy; the trademark Indigo style and the lovely aroma of bread and Italian herbs will make your stomach rumble.
Indigo serves a blend of European and continental cuisine. They also have a special breakfast menu. I particularly love their sloppy joes and beef burgers. Very few restaurants in Mumbai serve beef burgers and Indigo’s beef burger is a hands down winner. Cooked to perfection and served with smashing combination of sauces, truly scrumptious and a must, must try. Other favorites include pasta in pink sauce and ravioli. Food is definitely above average, but I ordered zucchini fritters twice and they were a huge disappointment. Even the calamari was not up to the mark.
I have a major sweet tooth and the pastry and confectionery counter at Indigio is one the main reason, I frequent this place so often. The tiramisu here is to die for, but the molten chocolate and triple layer mouse give it some serious competition. Indigo also serves seasonal delicacies and their natural ice creams are simply mouth-watering.
Would conclude by saying soggy zucchini fritters or not, Indigo is still one of my favorite haunts.
