I had ordered for purchase of bata ambassador shoes on 21.02.2010 vide billing id no.997945356. After few days, on checking of the order status, i was advised that inadvertently the company have dispatched shoe size no.6 instead of 8. I was advised not to receive the parcel from the courier and was assured that the ordered size shall be dispatched in 2/3 days immediately on receipt of the parcel sent by them. The back delivery was received by the company employee sh. Shyam , which was duly acknowledged by shri sujit mishra. And all other formalities/computer records were updated by 14th march. Since then there have been exchange of number of communications via mails.
In this connection, i have talked to ms. Ramneek., s/shri kuldip, sujeet, sumit, harvinder, kapil ravi negi, and supervisor justin fernadez and others but to no avail. Inasmuch as they do not give mobile/contact details of shri arun puri, reportedly boss of India today book club- mail order business. Every time one stock reply is given that the order shall be executed within next 10 days. I do not know when these 10 days shall complete. In spite of the fact that they have received payment of rs.1298/- in advance on 21.02.2010.
I have now left with no alternative but to lodge an fir against all named above and the company named above as also to move to consumer forum for legal redressal of my grievance.
