The other day I wanted to send a surprise gift to my Hubby on his birthday and opted for shopping from Indiatimes. I had placed an order for a Black Forest Cake from a reputed bakery with HAPPY BIRTHDAY written on it and a bunch of roses.
At last.when the day was finally getting over the so-called surprise came.and when I opened up the box.all the surprises were converted into shock! The cake was a dark chocolate cake instead of a Black Forest.nothing written on it and the worst part of it was.the so-called reputed bakery was a cheap road side bakery.with cream made out of some nasty material.mixed with flour and dalda.and the taste was awful!
And they took almost 500 bucks for what? A cheap cake and a bunch of stale roses.
I called up the customer care and they said they were sorry.and it would be compensated soon within 48 hours.72 hours passed by and not a sign of regret from them.
So guys n gals.be careful.while shopping for surprises from indiatimes.you never know.what surprises u would really land upto.
