I had a poor experience the second time with India plaza so wanted to report here.


I first ordered an MP3 player it was very poor quality and did not perform all advertized


functions. I returned it and had my credit card revoke the payment.


I tried again 1 week ago with a book. I thought they cant do any wrong with the book.


I ordered on the 9th Nov and got the Shipped status on 11th. From then I kept looking


at the tracking site. For 4 days the nook was "out for delivery" since it was shipped from


within Bangalore it should have reached in 2 days even if the guy was sent on a bicycle.


Then on the 6th day the tracking site reported that my house was locked.


I live in a complex and the Security maintains a register for all couriers who come to the apt whether they are able to deliver the package or not.


There was no info on the courier designated by IndiaPlaza.


I sent an angry mail to both the courier and raised a ticket with India plaza. The courier responded but IndiaPlaza ignored the complaint.


The next day I threatened that I am cancelling the order and both the courier and IP don't bother.


The courier reached my house within 3 hours of the threatened cancellation and India plaza representative said that their systems were down and they could not "locate" my complaint.


Pathetic Pathetic Pathetic.


Why not tell the customer the truth in the first place.


If you can deliver in 3 hours after being threatened with order cancellation, how is ir possible that a package is "out for delivery" for 4 days.


My next book is ordered at Flipkart, lets see how they perform.


Their discounts are not as good but atleast they have COD so I pay them after I receive the book.
