Being an advisor in various health forums, I started monitoring IndiaParenting right from 1998 when it was just concieved. Started by a budding Netpreneur mother, it has grown in leaps and bounds ever since.
Good graphics, good content, this site attracts a lot of kids and lots of promotions by kiddie product companies like Johnson and Johnson, Sil Jams, Horlicks etc.
It has some of the best resources for would-be mothers, expert advice from Pathologists and Child-Specialists. A plethora of baby products to shop from, this promises to be a successful e-venture.
While writing this review, I logged on to see the updates on IndiaParenting. And I found, that they have now started message boards and communities also for both kids and their mothers. It also has e-cards section and some exciting new polls.
On the other side, it seems IndiaParenting has never aimed at being a global site. They have poor search engine visibility and the guys behind this are very Mumbai-centric. They should try and put in more efforts to promote this site globally. Especially after they have a huge funding from Star E-ventures.
