Why this card?:
Trouble free -It's a Citibank card - Honest and trouble free experience for the user - I say this from more than 5 years of association with Citibank credit cards.
Free for life(at least for the moment) -No joining/annual/renewal fee and no conditions attached - Why should one pay for a CC?
Free fuel - Free fuel when you redeem accumulated points which add up on fuel and other purchases made using the card.
4.Simple, quick and hassle free application process - online.
Do yourself a favour, get your self one! The Titanium card is an alternative which offers you the same benefits. Titanium is Mastercard whereas Platinum is Visa.
It is not without reason that this card has such a high approval rating! Think about it!
If you want a rewards/points card and don't mind paying an annual fee of Rs. 500( only if your annual expenditure is less than Rs.20, 000, free otherwise) get the Cash Back Card. It too comes with the'No fuel surcharge' facility at IOC outlets AND has some excellent savings on utility bills and movie tickets. Incase you currently own a Citibank card you can swap/upgrade to this card for free and there will be no annual fee charged irrespective of your annual expenditure! Depending on your lifestyle and expenditure choices you may opt for either one of these cards - The IndianOil or the Cashback.They are equally good.
Ignore my'Rates and Charges' rating as I have not bothered looking at and comparing them with others. No question of any outstanding or cash withdrawl ever. So makes no difference to me!
