I got the IndianOil Citbank Credit Card about two years ago. Though I also have another citibank credit card, I have been using this as my primary credit card over these last two years. Usage style - Every month, I use the card quite extensively for groceries, petrol, eating out and for some shopping. Excepting on rare occassions, I usually settle the bill in full within the due date. Bill Statements - Come every month on time. You can still check online at citibank.co.in. Payments - Since I also have a citibank savings account, payment is completely online. Missing the due date - Twice during this time, I have paid after the due date. But I have not been charged anything for this. Possibly because my record has been good. Points system - The highlight of this card is the points system. You get two Turbo points for Rs.125/- spent on petrol at IndianOil pumps and one Turbo point for Rs.125/- spent otherwise on the card. Over the past year or so, I had accumulated over 2000 points. So this month, I requested citibank to give me Petrol for those points. Today, I have received Rs.2000/- worth of petrol coupons for IndianOil petrol bunks. Fly For Sure Scheme - Last year Citibank announced a fly for sure scheme on all its credit cards. Anyone who spent a total of Rs.30000/- between October and December was eligible for free return tickets to a destination they chose (within a selected list of destinations, within India). I filled the form, and they called me to confirm my destination choices and date choices. But I am yet to get the tickets. Verdict - Use it wisely and get free petrol. The one thing thats becoming very costly today!
