Hi Friends, India railway is one among the longest and busiest railway network in the world. IRCTC plays a big role under the Ministry of railways which provide services to passengers.But when we see in real world its completely poor performance.
Many a time when you book ticket from online through IRCTC web its loaded very slow in peak hours and due to heavy access of server.So does you may miss to book the ticket.
They have all contractual basis employee so do their salary is based upon the contractor and their job will be remain same as long as a new contractor didnt appointed.
As a career one can join irctc but be sure the growth is how your railway route and how the railways pay to their contractors.
Work environment they need to improve a lot in daily dasis.
I must rank its quality is not satisfactory.
