Dear Sir,

1) As per PM's request, subsidy was given up, still getting messages for adhaar No. Why?

2) Now refill supply is delayed, refill can be booked after 21 days of supply of earlier refill. At times, consumer may forget to book exactly and normal delay is upto one week. Booking to become effective 3 days. Then delay starts. Now message comes, refill will be delivered in 47 days in Karnataka. Consumers cannot even contact distributors, you have to spend half a day on telephone to continuously, to get their lines. Nobody picks up. Even if you send online complaint to IndianOil, prompt reply / automated response will come instantly that your complaint is forwarded to the distrubutors for redressal. That's all you will never get any further reply on the complaint.

3) They say a consumer can register for refil from any phone, but once it is registered from a mobile phone, that No will be registered in their system and consumers can never book for further refill from any other No or nobody else can book.

4) Even to change a mobile No, consumers have to give it in writing in their format and submit in person. Imagine if the connection is in the name of elders, how the difficulties will be.

5) Elderly consumers who donot have mobile cannot ask anybody to book a refill.

Such is the computerisation and its usefulness. Ultimately Indane wants consumers have to suffer at every stage and beg with them for refill.

6) Even after surrendering subsidy, bribe is required for supply of refill as delivery man demands a minimum of Rs. 25. In these days, why a bribe is required? Everybody is aware of this, but nobody wants to stop this practice, but our honourable PM ask consumers to give up subsidy, but blissfully unaware the practice of compulsory bribe. Are the Oil companies do not pay salaries to these delivery man?

If consumers object to paying bribe, next time, without even visiting the house, they will report "door locked" and some other excuse, leaving you at your wits end.

Who can take effective steps? Nobody really, even the powerful are keeping silent.

shankar
