Very immature behavior by judges and audience

The March 14 episode where Amay Daate was voted out, was truly stupid. Over the weeks many capable indian idols were voted out by the audience and nobody cared to revolt. But on March 14, when Amay Daate was voted out, the judges acted silly by walking out, only to return back in 10 minutes. They behaved liked kids. And Annu Mallik, as usual, started his boring dialoges that we are all Indians.

At the end of every song by the Indian idols, the hosts ask the audience to vote for the guys whom they like. We hear dialoges like ''if you want a girl to be your Indian Idol, vote for Antara'', ''if you want Meenal's smile to last forever, vote for her'', etc. At that time the hosts never mention that you have to vote for the best singer. They always ask to vote for your favorite guy/gal. And finally when the audience vote for their favorite guy/gal the judges behave as if Indian audience is immature and vote only for a person from their state.

How can we accept judges who themselves don't follow the rules? Why do we need judges who first of all don't have any power? The judges had their power in the first few episodes when they screened candidates to appear for the finals. But now when only the audience has the power to decide about their candidates, the judges are only serving as a decoration and their dialogues are only spoiling the mood of the show.

About the judges: Anu Mallik, the least said the better. To all candidates who were voted out, he goes on to say that he promises to work with them in the future. First of all, he himself does not seem to have much chance these days and he goes on to promise chances for others. Why does he think that he is the best music director in this country and if he does not offer a chance, the voted-out candidates have lost everything. I am sure that a candidate like Meenal is more popular than even Anu Mallik. If he/she has the capabilities to raise, they need not depend on Anu Mallik to come up in their careers.

Farah: She does not know ABC about singing and she is a judge.

Sonu Nigam: The only good judge out there. But what is the use when he does not have any power to influence the results.? He should have walked out permanently from the show instead of looking like a fool there

My opinion: Rules are rules and everybody should abide by them. If Anuj has won he has won and the judges should congratulate him and motivate him to sing well the next time. There is no point in publicly demoralizing him just to favour Amey. They can change the rules for Indian Idol 3 (if they are planning for one) and make sure that the judges opinion also counts. Audience poll should have 50% weightage and judges poll should have the remaining 50% weightage.
