In this whole bunch of news papers in India, thank god; something is different. Indian express stands lone striving for perfection in its own style of news presentation. I would like to share the newspaper statistics.

The very own style of presentation developed by Indian express is still running, I E is said to be the master of exclusives. If you take a newspaper copy any day, the front page would be containing one or two exclusives. Even former Hindustan Times Vir Sanghvi commented in one of his interviews, that god knows from which source these I E guys get all these exclusives.
It has always come forward against the wrong doings of anyone whether the govt... Ranging back to the emergency period, Indian express fulfilled its role with total perfection.
Now it we go in detail about the news paper content.
Front Page: It contains all most all the major news of the day, with exclusives as an added advantage. The cartoon by UNNY is also nice but not the common man of times of India.
Business Page: business news is covered from the user's angle by I E. all the imp. News appears on the page with stock prices and new products in market.
Sports Page: sports page along with news also contains articles and columns by prominent sports personalities.
Editorial: editorial is the lifeline of a news papers, and I E satisfies that philosophy. A national interest editorial by the editor in chief Sekhar Bhatia on Wednesdays is simply superb. Time out and various other columns on the page are also good.
5. OP ED Page: Indian express was one of the few Indian newspapers which consisted of the famous OP ED page , the feelings of the editorial page can't be fulfilled by the lone editorial page so OP ED was started. It contains articles, features.
6. City specific Supplements: as every news paper I E has also city supplement, but the specialty of the city supp is the page 3, it was the first news paper of come out with a campaign named the real page 3. Its page 3 don’t contain al those party smarty news. They cover the problems of the ground citizen of the country.
All the above description is the highlight of the plethora of news covered in the I E.
It’s simply great. One can enjoy his morning tea with this news paper...
