Indian Express got history with it. It has the image of someone who will take on the extablishment. But nowadays it looks a little tone down.
But still the front page and back page is very interesting headlines and story angle are good.
They get exclusives. But nowadays Asian age is also catching up with them in this regard.
But express main line (the supplement) is very good as in serious reporting and looking at issues and taking them up with authorities.
The problem with them is that the inside pages are pathetic. the quality of newsprint is really outs you off. And also you miss out on happenings in the city, like which play happening where, which movie running where. Many a times ADs help us with info - these are very less in Express. So at the moment its more of a second Newspaper with great potential. If they change the newsprint for inside pages - I will stop times and read only Express.
