New series and yet another humiliating defeat knocking on the door of Indian cricket.Can anyone see the future of Indian cricket, as far I can see it’s doom from now and only some magician can save Indian cricket.
Regarding this Indian team I can’t remember the last time they won a match against Australia. The day Aussies arrived in India everyone from media to players and even common man on streets pounce on them and stared throwing verbal volleys against the Aussies and the way they play their game.
Everyone forgot the thrashing this Indian team got when they toured Australia, and the series was hype to be a Tiger Vs Kangaroos.( in which part of the world we will get such tiger like Indian player!!!! Kangaroos are too much for our INDIAN TIGERS!!)
Before the start of the current series everyone was discussing about Sachin being better then Steve Waugh, now everyone can see the difference between Waugh and our Sachin.
Sachin could not even score against Mcgrath freely as he use to do against Zimbabwe.The great Mcgrath got him thrice in a row, it’s a matter of shame to get out to same bowler thrice in a row on your home ground. Now what all the people has to say, Waugh or Sachin? Who is the greatest? My vote as always will go for Steve Waugh, just because he has scored runs whenever his team needed him to score, and not like Sachin only against lesser known bowlers.
Coming to Prince of Calcutta Ganguly, he is the worst captain to ever lead Indian side. Every now and then he is news for wrong reason, sometimes he was suspended for one match for showing dissent against umpire, and now some Naghma is taking his attention and most of the time, poor prince doesn’t have time to concentrate on his batting.
Now I think people of India must be feeling the importance of Azhar as a player and as well as a captain. In Steve Waugh’s own words” We don’t fear this Indian team without Azhar and Kumble”. Atleast with Azhar in the team we used to not loose at our home grounds, but now its just that we are loosing everywhere to everyone.
I strongly feel Azhar should be taken back in the team for last test match against Aussies to restore some lost pride.
Like this I can go on writing a full book on each player, but lesser said about the rest of the team is better. They are of no use.The current Indian team is full of selfish and untalented player who plays for their own personal records.
Till when they will continue to ride on peoples sentiments and fill their pockets and bank balance, it’s high time players of Indian team get paid according to their performance on the field.Each player should be assign a task to fulfill for a particular match or series, and depending upon their performance they should be paid.
If I get my way I would go one step further, considering the amount of money cricketer’s make these days they should be even fined, or atleast their pay should be deducted if they fail to fulfill the task allotted to them.
Whereas look at Pakistan they have so many youngsters who are ready to take over from the seniors player, but in our country we can’t find anyone beyond Hirwani and Raju.
