By and Large, Indian Cricket Organisation is the Richest in the Cricket World. The Players Patron a minimum of 2 commercial products. They forayed into almost all the dimensions of the Indians. They are paid well both by the Board and the Companies. They are one of the Richest Bunch in the World of Cricket.
What They Deliver:
Frustrations to the People Of India.
People of India Expect too much from whatever they want. It is a fact. So, happens with the Indian Cricket also. Indian Players are expected not to win, but fight at least. Many a Time, Indians were let down by the team. Indians are not pro-winners. They want to have a good show in the fighting arena, and even would appreciate defeats. But, the defeat must be the result of fighting. That is what is expected.
Off late, Indian Team was doing well in India against West Indies, and in England against the English. I suddenly thought the Team had changed its thinking process. But, the recent defeat in NZ proved what I thought was wrong. It seems that in England they had played as if they did not play their natural game, and they won it by luck. They make me think so.
Indian Team is full of stars. When they join together, they dont glitter, rather fade away from everyone's sight. Right from the opener slot, till the tail end, its full of stars. But, why these stars dont twinkle at the Need of Hour?
There lies some problem with the team's thought process. They have to change it, and try to fight out when it is needed.
Often, they surrender meekly to the opponents that they really get on the nerves of the cricket loving Indians. I would say that NZ is not a better team than India is, and losing to them by a very big margin is highly unacceptable.
The oncoming World Cup is an acid test to the team. They cannot afford to lose any match. They have to prove, not to the world, but to the Indian People that they are capable of winning matches, with Stars of every department in Cricket is in the team.
