Losing even on hometurf,a big SHAME. Review on Indian Cricket Team

I had been telling all the way long to my friends,that please stop being so esctatic about the recent wins,and finally my prophecy came true.They lost the series to a hapless team like Windies and even on home turf.I know die hards will come up with lame excuses like the team was without stalwarts and all excuses under the stars ,where the fact is that Indian B-team should have bet a team like Windies 7-0 ,but alas ,there was a series going on till the last match .If windies can make our team sweat in home,just imagine how this team may fare against Aussies and SA ,overseas?

Now the next question that is popped up by enthusiasts is, how about England tour,but they forget that its another pathetic team next to windies.India was just fortunate to play a series of matches against underdogs in recent times and emerge triumph. The bottomline is ,a person can perform only to his potential and anything above that is just pure luck and temporary ,same applies to our team.On a given day they may perform miracles and win just because Mars and Pluto may have coincided and not because of their effort . Becasue Indian team never puts in an organised calculated effort ,they live it to fate and belive strongly in the philosophical saying which all losers depend upon to console themselves :''in every match ,one has to loose and one has to win''.

Its not the talent that counts, there are many other things that may compensate it and is needed to be a consistent winner like ,strong mental toughness, never-say-die fighting spirit,passion for winning , national pride which is totally missing in our team and unfortunately cant be coached by anyone,but just flows in the blood and our team never have that shrewd killer instinct,as simple as that.Have you seen any fire,fighting spirit in any of our frontline fast bowlers?They look like dead vegetables and even today frail handicapped Srinath is leading the pack .Zaheer Khan does not have that penetrating line and length to make the opposition jump around and Agarkar ,forget him.

Batting, read my lips, half of the present new prodigies will fail on fast pitches abroad where likes Mcgrath and Donalds will be firing all cylinders and breathing down their neck .In the present series ,all the scores were consistently hovering around 300 and its not because the batsmen were brilliant but the pitches were horrible and conducive for strokeplay,god knows who is the curator and no wonder all the paper tigers exploited it to the hilt.And we fans in the exuberance brushed aside all these home advantages. Indian team from the times of Kapils and Gavaskars had a world class batting lineup ,but never has it clicked ,because they may have talent but they never had that winning killer instinct qualities.Now dont talk of 83 world cup ,its a matter of the last millenium.

But anyway indian fans will always be there ,searching for the silver line ,does not matter even if this team wins or looses.
