After the "Horrendous performance" against England, South Africa and "terrible" scare from Ireland we have limped into the Quarters . Today the present WI without Gayle & Roach has given us a reminder as to how poor we really are when facing the fast men and that too Ravi Ramphal! the worst is even against the dimunitive Bishoo Mr Dhoni the "helicopter Shot man "( Stop the bloody advts please!) could not do the advt in real time!
Mr D.Smith has given us the scare already and god knows what is in store for us! Our 1 1/2 bowling(1/2 made out of harbhajan+ Ashwin) is not even 1 1/2 now perhaps 3/4 th maybe!
perhaps our mad "Hyped" supporters feel we can still beat either Australia or Sri lanka!
We did beat WI after all! But when we beat Australia so wonderfully and Pakistan so magnificently I thought I must "eat my words" on what I said in my comments on India's 1 1/2 bowling! but alas today in the finals our 11/ 2 bowling really showed up and we have been "murdered" by the "Silent Assassin " named Mahela Jaywardena and the tail of Sri Lanka for 274.
I have a uncanny feeling that the ghost of WC -1996(Qr/Semi Final?)at Kolkata where India capitulated chasing a score of below 250 is back!
