What do you do when you don't feel like having home food but you don't want to go out and spend a bomb? You want to have light food, want to chill out for a bit, a lazy sunday afternoon or just need a place to sit and chat over authentic filter coffee. welcome to the coffee house.
Built inside a wonderful art theater - the "Jawahar Kala Kendra", lovely ambience surrounded by art all around you, with sunlight and rain dancing in the open verandas, and still a cozy feel. A typical south indian joint open from 9 am to 9 pm, frequented by art lovers, journalists, students and artists, its a wonderful place to be. Serves breakfast with eggs and omlettes and lunches too but as far as the food is concerned, the best would be the regular and authentic Dosas, Idlis and Wadas. Uttapam is also quite nice. Do NOT forget to top it all up with strong filter coffee.
Reasonably priced with no one to push you to empty the tables, this place is a relief when you want to look at life at your own pace. I wish they can keep it this way forever to come.
