Best India centric travel site. Review on Indiamike

Ive been posting and referring to India Mike for about a year now, along with some other travel sites such as tripadvisor etc.  I am most impressed with India Mike because there are a cross section of people out there giving real travel info and feed back from all budget ranges and perspectives.

For example you have the backpackers and people who are happy to rough it out which is not my style, then you have the mid budget rangers as most of us are, you know, trying to get a good holiday or travel experience without breaking the bank, and it is in this group that the best information is disseminated with really useful data on everything from travel arrangements, lodging, food, logistics, things to see, do and experience, what to look out for, what to avoid and so forth.  Additionally a lot of people post interesting snippets about every aspect of India, Indian life and that sort of stuff.  This is really useful for those who are visiting a region for the first time.

This site India Mike is not just for foreign visitors but just as useful for Indians travelling in India.  Most of the posters are mature and do not unnecessarily become vituperative or vehement, unlike at tripadvisor where some people can be really patronising, and several posters especially so called experts are nothing but travel agents in disguise.  Nothing wrong with travel agents seeking publicity but they should be up front about it.  India Mike also has useful hotel reviews and some stunning photographs in their photo section.  All in all, an excellent India travel site.
