There is this company Indialends, that I had never heard of in my life. My financial needs are much in control and I don’t need loans or new credit cards.
But this year, suddenly this company of unprofessionals, decided to just bombard my phone with their numerous calls and sms and emails, begging me to take loans and/or credit cards from them.
I started to receive their automated calls 5-6 times a day. Whether it is early morning or late evening, my day starts and ends with their calls. I am supposed to leave everything at hand and just listen to their automated calls. They are such high class people, having no time to speak, while insignificant people like us have to oblige them by hearing them out. Only their time is precious, not ours!
I have blocked and reported them as spam on Twitter 19 times. But then they call from new numbers. I have told them off several times on Twitter, ‘Instructing’ them not to harass me. They apologise every time and say they have taken my ‘Request’ and then shamelessly call again. More I tell them not to call, more they call, almost trying to intimidate me.

I don’t understand why telemarketers are allowed to call us, selling their products and services, that we just don’t need. I find and get what I want, of my choice. I certainly don’t need suggestions from unknown people. Advertisements on TV and newspapers etc. were still tolerable. But what is this unfair practice of calling people and forcing them to divert their attention from what they are doing. Where is my right to privacy?
Why do these companies get cheap packages to call public and harass them? Why don’t they spend money on advertising in proper media, if they seriously want to do business?
