After settling down in India during September, 2008, I subscribed fo many Indian Magazines.
Most of the magazines had attractive gifts if you subscribe for 3 years.
India Today(English) advertised 26% saving on cover price+'Timex Watch' and'Mystery gift worth Rs.300/- for three years subscription. I paid Rs.2900/- against regular price of Rs.4800/-, online using my Credit Card during the first week of December, 2008.
They promptly acknowledged my payment and started sending their Magazines from 1st week of January, 2009.
As I didn't get thegifts till middle of March, I sent an e-mail to them. I got a reply from the as below:

After continues follow up I received'Timex Watch' in the middle of June, 2009.after 6 months!. But till now I have not received the'Mystery Gift'. It remains a'Mystery' still!
I sent many reminders, I receive only automatic respond, but they are keeping their " Mouth Shut!"
*I also like to warn you, neveer become a member of their'Book Club' You will have no beefit other than loosing your membership fees!
