There are so many courier services out there, who help us to get our packages transfer quickly throughout the country! But among them only One Courier is from the Govt. itself and that is the Mother of all Couriers(As it's been there Since "Post Office" created)
India Post.
Some years ago they only used to courier Speed Posts and All but nowadays when lot of people are buying products from online websites every time. They started to send those packages too!
I personally never had faith in them, as some earlier bitter past experiences in the post office branches! But recently the faith has been restored!

I use to buy from online sites(actually a lot), and recently some online sites(Like Amazon) did stop delivering big products(electronics, mobiles etc.) to our location. I know it's not their fault as other courier services stopped the assistance to them but India Post saved them and us in a way. for them, Amazon is still able to deliver to some products to our location(Majorly small products like Books, Jewelry, Clothes etc.) And to be honest they are delivering it much faster than the others.
Few days ago I ordered some books and clothes and they arrived at my place in just 2.5 days from the time of order(As normally they would have arrived in 4 or 5 days if it was any other courier) And it didn't just happen in one occasion it now happens every time! They become blazing fast!
And they improved their customer services and support too. Like if any one is not in his house at the time of delivery they will try 2 days more consecutively and then it will be in "On Hold" location for 2 days, then it will be post back to the location where it came from! But now at least you have the margin of total 5 days to get your package. So it's better right?
Overall I would say, If you are sending some parcels or precious gifts to your relatives, friends then you can post via them, As they are reliable, fast and has an amazing client support!
