There are 3 types of scenario when India is playing cricket (only for Test series)
a) Home Series against any team :
Do not forget to include Anil Kumble, VVS Laxman, Saurav Ganguly or any
player who is doing well in domestic series...age no bar.
b) While touring other countries :
Bring in all the new comers by replacing all major players, make anybody
the captain or vice-captain. You have a choice of recalling players like
Ajay Jadeja, Vinod Kambli, Nayan Mongia, SS Das, Azharuddin, S Ramesh,
Rohan Gavaskar, N Sidhu etc...
c) While playing against Pakistan in Pakistan :
Age factor is important over here...Replace all the players above 30yrs
by new players doing well in domestic or Under 19 teams. Objective should
be to build a special team who knows the importance of playing against
Pakistan and has potential to play under various conditions in Pakistan.
