I am a current parent of India International School and my daughter is in Grade 6.
Last year we moved to Bangalore and while short-listing schools for our daughter, came across IIS.
I would be honest, my initial reaction to the School and their infra-structure condition was not positive. But they had provision for a lot of facilities and most of all I had heard only good reviews about their New Principal Dr Ratna Ghosh.
1 year down the line, I am glad I took the decision to place my daughter in IIS.
Not only has she improved in her academic pursuit, but has slowly started coming out of her shell being a very shy child.
Whenever she meets their Principal, she has positive reinforcement for her students.
The current batch of teachers are very dedicated and caring.
The sports facilities for the students which even 1 year ago was in shambles have improved leaps and bounds. The students are motivated to take up various kinds of sports apart from their regular classes.
Students are also provided special classes for those who are lagging behind academically, which made a whole lot of difference to my daughter's learning graph.
I am very confident and hopeful for the schools future, because the interest, ethics, good management is delegated top-down starting from the school Principal-Dr Ratna Ghosh.
Hope the school only adds more feathers to its cap:-)
