Pollution, filth and poverty are the three common problems plaguing urban India.

Have you driven in any metroes? It is a death trail. The pollution has increased many folds in recent times and has resulted in hazardous health problems.Eventhough many developed coutries have equally horrendous traffic density but pollution is reduced or kept under check because of the unadulterated fuel used. But in India there are no steps taken in that direction and its all on paper ,but on roads ,the vehicles which top the list of pollutors are the government owned vehicles. This pollution if goes unchecked or if any remedial measures are not taken to counter it,it can have dire consequnces on the choking citizens in the cities especially metroes. The growing traffic volume has to be regularised by enforcing strict traffic rules.City roads are death traps.Lane system is an unknown concept in india and has to be gradually introduced to bring in some civilised driving sense .At any busy traffic junctions ,the vehichles will be jammed ontop of each other haphazardly , and as soon as the signal turns green all hell breaks loose from all directions. With increasing traffic ,steps should be taken to enforce order and increase awareness among the public to follow traffic rules.Somehow our roads has to be free from stray animals especially cows and dogs.Anybody hearing?

Overflowing garbage bins and filth ,is another unbearable ugly scene in Indian cities.Solution for this does not solely depend upon government but on, each and one of us .We can personally contribute to reduce it ,by stopping the pilfering of garbage or waste in public places ,especially the educated citizens because the onus lies on us .Indian cities just stink and has to be the dirtiest in the whole wide world. Please try to avoid spitting, especially the paan chewers, they are a big nuisance,be it bus, trains, they think its their birthright to paint the city red.The most disgusting sight in our country is to see men urinating anywhere and everywhere in public like dogs.Misuse of public property is another common sight.Government in a vast country like ours cant be blamed unless we start behaving ourself.

Poverty and begging is another pitiable sight in all the cities.I cant understand those who manufacture kids in litter when they are sure that they will not be able to provide a decent livelihood or future. You pass by any slum or poverty stricken family, you can see kids swarming around in hordes.I feel sorry when I see a lady with a kid tugged along with her begging on raods,a very common sight, but why produce kids and make life more miserable for herself and for the kid ?It is this population that is sucking our country down and root cause for the teeming population.I dont know what is the solution to it either.Maybe we have to adopt the strict chineese govt of one kid policy. Maybe Sanjay Gandhi was right in adopting harsh stance in tackling this issue. This country cant afford to be democratic in its views on certain policies and issues if it has to develop.

But who is hearing these outpourings?
