I am a Travel and tourism student and works at Top travels and tours. I have been into tourism since 3 years. and I have seen a lot good and a lot bad in India. At first it was just fun, pleasure, we use to travel places and have fun as much as we could have, visited Jaipur with 40 friends. One of my most memorable tour. We all took a local empty bus and changed its root. took a ride on water tank 25 students on the top, hooting and enjoying, drinking lassi altogether, 17 guys and girls in one big Auto :p
Later I tried to understand the tourism point of views, tourist mentality. allocentric and psychocentrics. it was tough, but we figured out, we lived a weak in 1 star hotel, talked and became friend with everyone. We went into 2 star for same duration, talked to tourist there, played teen patti with them. Then we checked in to 3 star hotels, was hard to make friends but we managed few.
We went in to 4 star and we saw it was hard for many foreigners to trust upon us by 1st look of typical "Gawaar" Indian. we suited up and stayed in 5 star and 5 star deluxe. We figured out a lot about those hotels. That's why many of them love to have decent conversation on the other side many want to mind there own business.
fair enough. By this time I was enjoying and was proud of my country.
Then I came in to final year and got a job where I had to deal with foreign tourists. There I realized how awful thinking they have for us in there mind, I made my study on reality and I found they were right.
A group of Thai tourist request us not to mix them with Indian people at all in any point of tour to India, our people do not feel good about it. I was shocked with that. I found in my study what was wrong in real life. I made a decent conversation with one of them, and I saw this in real not only about Thai but many things are wrong with us.
Asian guy are called "chinkiii", "chineez", "cgini mini" they make fun like "chi chow" these words were common in real world when they are mixed with us.
Indians think that any guy with white tone is rich and will spend a lot of money easily.
all white tone people are assumed to be american, doesn't matter if in real they are german, french, spanish, british, dutch or any else.
White tone women are assumed to have sex with any guy just to satisfy her. (Typical Porn sites).
Black people are called "Hupshii"
Black people are assumed to be drug addicts or spoiled one.
Many of us want to mug foreign tourists.
Staring is the worst problem you get ever, you are a foreigner you are meant to be stared badly by a@#$%^&*.
Corrupt system.
Visa problems, and broken government links.
If Indian women are not safe in India, how come you be sure about safety of white tones.
Common people are not safe in India, bomb blasts, natural disasters makes high voltage alert to be issued by government of other countries for travel plans to India.
We got to get rid of our Black parts or else we will lose our beautiful culture, tourism, humanity. we have to know one thing that if we act human we are returned by humanity and when we do act devil that might please for a while but in long run that is going to be pain full. and many of us will suffer.
Even if we are the good ones we will suffer, many of you might disagree with list but the fact is this that we are on a decline.
