My Neighborhood. Review on India, General

Sorry, my Few MS friends as I was buy with my work I couldn’t write reviews or reply to your M2M, but now the work load is less and I will see to that I reply to each of you.

Let me ask everyone, Is It Wrong To Be Biased On Your Own Countrymen?</B> Or <B>To Be A Patriotic Human Being, A Crime In India?

As I work for PCB, my job needs me to visits India on official work. I have visited India several times whenever Pakistan plays India in India. The last time I visited India was in the month of January to attend the marriage ceremony of Mr. Iftekhar Chaudhary’s daughter.

<b>INDIA - <i>THE COUNTRY</i></b>

<b>I</b>ndia it's looks like a sub-continent rather then of a country. It is the seventh or the sixth largest country in the world and the second most populated country in the world. India is also referred as ''HINDUSTAN'' or ''BHARAT'' by many peoples.

<b>INDIA- <i>THE PAST</i></b>

<b>I</b> will not go very long back , i.e. before the Aryans. Of all the invaders of India the Aryans were the first one to invade India somewhere from Iran around 1500 B.C. After the Aryans many others invaded India. Alexander the Great and other Greeks arrived in India. Alexander the Great didn’t arrive to the present India, but to present day Pakistan and up to the borders of present India. Then after much later periods the Muslim invaders from Iran, Afghanistan, Mongolia and Arabs started to arrive in India, which later became famous by Mughal Empire, as they wanted to expand their Kingdom. Of all the rulers and the Empires that existed in India, the Mughals were perhaps the most powerful and famous to rule India. The Mughal ruled started in India around 1506 A.C when Babbar became the king of delhi, defeating the local ruler of that time. At their zenith the Mughal completely ruled the current day Pakistan, the whole of current North India, some Parts of West and South India. Aurangzeb was the last king of Mughal Empire, during his time there was total chaos prevaling in the country with many small rulers like Shivaji and Rana Pratap revolting against Aurangzeb. It was during this time the Britisher's, the Portuguese, and the French started taking lot of Interest in India, but in the end it was the Britisher's who manage to rule India for more then 150 years. They came on the pretext of doing spice trade with India, under British India Company and slowly started ruling India till 1947. It was under the British ruled that India developed into a progressive nation.

<b>INDIA- <i>THE PEOPLE.</i></b>

<b>O</b>h! Am I stepping into a shaking bridge! Should I stop here? Ok let me try to be fair, here I <b>GO!</b>.

The majority of Indian Population is Hindu with Muslims being the second, and there are many Sikhs and Christians also.

I have been to Delhi, Banglore, Bombay, Calcutta ,Hyderabad, Kashmir and Lucknow. The Indian people all over India are least helpful to the visitors, whenever they see visitors they act like some sort of a celebrity. Most of them from a Room boy to the top minister and officials all try to cheat the visitors at every step. I know a friend of mine from UK who was forced to part away with his imported Swiss watch right in front of his Hotel where he was staying in Delhi on a gun point, in a broad day light. And when he went police station to register a complaint the officers would just not listen or register his complaint, the reason he gave was that his duty hour is over, wait till the next officer's come. Once even my pocket was picked when I was walking around the Chowpatty beach some 3 years from now. This is what you call an Indian gift to a guest. There are good people but they are very less in numbers. The Beaches are the dirtiest I have seen. There is complete chaos around the public places with no proper arrangements for old age people. It' not the case just in Mumbai, but all over India the Problem is same whether you are in North or West or South it does not matter.

<b>T</b>he best thing and the place I like in India is, Kashmir. Some Indian has rightly said that '' If Paradise exists in the World its Kashmir! The place is full of beautiful garden and lake. The Dal Lake is the most beautiful place to be in Kashmir.

When in Kashmir I used to feel like home, the surrounding, the language of people, the People themselves, all made me feel like they are the extended part of my family and me. The Kashmir people are very helpful and kindhearted, I just can't understand why India people, project Kashmir's as Terrorist. I was there with them and they are very hard working and peace loving people in all of India like we have in our Pakistan.

<b>INDIA- <i>THE FUTURE.</i></b>

1) Mandir-Masjid Issue.

2) Poverty.

3) Illiteracy.

4) Militancy.

5) Corruption.

There were many more points that I wanted to add, but I think I have reached the maximum limit of writing review, so I have to stop here.
