Recently concluded India-England Test Series has raised same issues of yore......playing for a draw(becuase we have sealed the series..) , tactics of not one , two night-watchmen(ohhh.... we are so scared of Swing-Pace Bowling...), playing to the core strength (Spinners..this one worked well though...) ... Captain Courageous( So called the wall....but trust me this wall is too old ...100 tests LoL....and needs some renovation in terms of aggresion...saying the least ).

Nations who believe sport is one thing which reflects the nation's Pride, it's Culture and Beliefs, are making each and every effort to make their team competent enough to survive in this ever-challenging and professional world....it is a hard-hard place...which leaves no space for mistakes....if you commit one...take one more chance ...again if you do the same.....excuse us please....we have many people in line to play for nation-respect...I mean how many more chances will India take to prove that they are not bunch of young-experienced players (Lol...) they lost in Pakistan then to England....(draw is not Win) also ODI's are not for me to take into account....Cricket is best when it comes to test....(I would like to say please bear with me here....as I feel ODI's are more than stage show's for Media and players rather than getting the grind known as Cricket..). If the lost to Pakistan was termed as sheer new experience for a young team under a new-charming-experienced-talented-the Wall (LOL...) , then what about this in-sight lost against a third-grade England team...sometimes I feel to praise team England for their magnimus effort in beating a low-on-attitude team India....aaah...I wish I could..

England came here with the hope of getting a draw and they got it plus A Huge Psychological edge of beating Lions in their own den.....kudos to England...India ..i don't know what was the approach taken....they dropped VVS Laxman ....laxman is like greek gods they won't say they do ....time is a constraint...so be it and should apply for all of the players not some of them....then they dropped M Kaif...who did played valiantly in the first test..what are you selectors & management trying to prove here.....what will it take to be in playing Eleven ...tell this to whole of the nation so that players can prepare accordingly....you score runs you will be out....you didn't score runs you will be out....BULLSHIT ....!! they have taken in Y Singh (another hero from Pakistan tour...) but Mr Singh you gotta do much much better than that if you want to play test cricket ....els do your ad-shads...and spare us, Please learn at least from guys like M dhoni, I Pathan who are not playing for getting more n more advertising compaigns...!!

Was reading todays headlines on what-went-wrong with Team India....S Gavaskar is saying something on inconsistent batting orders, too much shuffling of players....true true true.... R Dravid said in a recent interview that he is looking for a pool of 18-20 players for World Cup 07 ....ohh come on focus on the current task in hand....if you can't build on these 15 players in hand then leave the job as well as dream of being in World Cup 07 ...do some hard work (not on yourself....you are ok...but on team...!!) ..then Mr. G Chappell.....Please DO NOT try the much hyped and successful Aussie way of playing to our Nation...you are coach so the first thing for you is to get to know how can we work for betterment...please do not force some drastic changes....like dropping the most-successfull, Real-Captain-Courageuos SC Ganguly... I think Indian team management must have realized this (pakistan now England...!!), that we need not only a thoughtful leader but one with an aggression and if it works better for team then BINGO......

Just try to analyze the 5th day of the 3rd test.....Dravid came in and he played 60 balls for his 9 runs....tendulkar came in he played some 57 balls for his 34.something.....this is the basic difference in attitude....I know people will say Dravid was playing the Sheet-Anchor Role.....Gimme a break please.....Sheet-anchor ....anchors the inning and not leave the team in a dismay after taking lions share of balls played...How many times this has happened...each time players like these get through because : a) they are among the senior ones. b) 2 out of 10 times they did steered the team to win (draw) , are these reasons enough for the lost of Pride, Legacy maintained by our players since 35-40 years that YOU HAVE TO WOK HARD TO BEAT India In India....No Not at all....not at any cost.....

We did lost to South Africa under Ganguly but we did beat Aussies under him and that was steered by Dravid and Tendulkar.... I am not against you guys ... but when my country lost I feel like somebody has taken blood out of my body and thus it pained a lot to me....so please in retrospect , have a look , have a look that you are the same people who bring us glory from England in 2002, and try to figure out why is this happenning....It is much more easy than looking at the old video's from part-matches...!!

Go for Win , not for draws.

Regards
