After watching the superhit sci-fi action movie Independence Day the first part that released way back in 1996 one must be very excited and thrilled to watch its second part i.e Independence Day Resurgence and this is the reason even I went to watch the movie because I liked the first part very much and also I am a fan of Will Smith so watching this movie was a must.But way below my expectation this movie really disappointed me as it lacks all the qualities of the Independence Day first part movie shows the same Aliens coming back and the same stuff that happens after that.After 1996 lots of movies came out of the same genre with the same story line so watching the same kind of movie over and over again irritates you.Resurgence feels like the copy of the sort of blockbuster's that we have watched countless times before,the characters are flimsy,the dialogue is stilted and the amount of destruction shown in the movie is ridiculous.The Cast of the movies are;Liam Hemsworth as Jake Morrison,Jeff Goldblum as David Levinson,Jessie Usher and Maika Monroe as Patricia.The Plot is about the aliens that are coming back after winning the battle with aliens twenty years back united nations has set up the Earth Space Defence to serve earth as a early warning from any unnatural object.When the nation was celebrating its twenty years of victory against the aliens then people feels the big massive spherical ship emerging and covering the earth the same way it did last time twenty years back.The movie has nothing that will glue you to the screen so it didn't even glued me rather it disappointed me as I was expecting the same thrill and blockbuster feel of Independence day the first part but was in vain.I would not recommend to watch this movie as it's a waste of time and money it's better to rewatch the first part rather than watching this movie.
