This movie, surprisingly, awakens the mind to the fact that people are now realising the importance of family. Though this movie focuses basically on sister-sister and grandma-granddaughter relationships, it does have a basic message of family love. Toni Colette(Rose) plays the role of a hard-working, slightly overweight lawyer and Cameron Diaz(Maggie) plays her anorexic, dyslexic, no-good younger sister who sponges off her. The movie is about how these two so different sisters who share only a shoe-size realise their affection for eachother and discover their long-lost grandmother.
Maggie overcomes her dyslexia and starts off a business with the help of her grandmother and helps her sister in her getting married. Essentially it is a different movie which focises more on the family point then on the romantic one. A must watch for all girls, atleast!
