I got this imint account by virtue of owning a ICICI Credit card. Since then I had been tracking my points. My first ever point redemption went bad. I had ordered for online voucher of Perfume2Order and its been 20days. They claim they have emailed it to me, I do not have any trace of this email. Repeated complains does not seem to help. I am waiting indefinitely hoping the email to land up in my mailbox :)
To make it worse, most of the time the site does not respond in a timely fashion. You can login only if all your stars are at the right place :)
Every time I speak to the call center folks, it appears they hire people who know handful of words in english. And replies are so generic - wait for x days and it will be sorted out.
What amazes me the most is that a reputed institution like ICICI has tied up with these amateurish company to handle reward points etc.
In short, stay away from this service. Its better to abandon credit cards or other such instruments that latch on to imint for rewards. Spend Rs 400/- to get 4 imint points which amounts to 1 rupee, ridiculous! Other cards offer 1 point for spend of Rs 100/- and each point amounts to Rs 1.
<> Finally received the e-voucher. Redemption requested on 28th May, received on 14 June. The website also seems more responsive. Phew!
