1) I had ordered a) Dandolion tea from this site. The price was~ 300-400 Rs/16 sachets(+~400-500 Rs shipping) which was quoting 2000+ on Indian site.
2) Afterwards I got information that the product is shipped through DHL and I got tracking information for say one week or so. After that the info. is no more updated.
3) I was a bit puzzled. So I searched the web and found the other details. As per the information depending upon the
type of item, Indian customs will charge some% customs duty on the total actual amount you paid to the iherb(i.e. product cost after discounts+shipping chgs). This you have to pay. I also came to know about HS codes etc., in this process
4) I ordered it on 22nd July and on 5th August I go the product through Post office. So say within two weeks time
it had reached me. Because it is a medicine there were no customs duty.( or any other reason of which I am unaware of).
5) So overall, for herbs, medicinal things you can buy from this site as they very economical and wide range is also available. Other items be ready to shell out other duties on delivery. I am extremely happy with this. best wishes.
