Sidney Sheldon has been one of my favorite writers. ‘If tomorrow comes’ was the first novel by Sidney Sheldon that I read. I never missed any Sidney Sheldon novel after that. This story of love, intrigue and revenge will keep you glued to the novel till the end.
Tracey Whitney is a young, beautiful and intelligent career woman about to be married to a wealthy businessman. But luck had another plans. She is framed by a ruthless mafia gang into a crime she didn’t commit. She loses her job and has to go to prison. Her lover abandons her. Now she has nobody but herself to rely upon. She serves some years in prison but manage to get released early. She takes revenge from all those who had wronged her with the help of the contacts through her former prison mates. She tries to get into a job again but finds that nobody is willing to hire her due to her criminal record. Eventually she gets into con business and emerges as the most successful con artiste of all times who pulls off daring robberies and heists with a finesse.
This novel is indeed a masterpiece from the master story-teller Sidney Sheldon. A must read for all who love to read fiction full of thrills and suspense.
