Hello, there.
I am currently pursuing my degree in Ideal Institute of technology that's why I am able to discuss many points as follow -
Reality is the college doesn't have a good amount of students for now which shows current college condition. There're about only 36 students in B.Tech 1st year in 2016-2017 Batch including all the branches.
The college had got fame in past and It certainly had good amount of students in past. But now that's no more.
The teachers in this college, after 3 semester of experience, I'd say, are good so far. But It's seen that many of the good teachers are leaving college rapidly.
Now, College has a fees of 1, 23, 000 for students pursuing B.tech, which is very much according to the conditions of college.
Some of the teachers may feel proud talking stories about some of old students who did good things around world. Those students must have done something great even though they're probably glorified more than a limit. I hope if college has some of present stories of this kind in present.
College doesn't even have a stable director. In 5-6 months, I had seen 3-4 directors going and coming rapidly. For now, there's no director in college. Instead of director, there're Advisor who guides the college.
Hostel is also available which has a fees of 65, 000+ 10000(security). Hostel doesn't have a good amount of students. Even the third floor of hostel is for birds. since that's empty due to lack of students.
Hostel's environment is okay. At least after spending some days. The only important thing for freshers is to realize that they have their individual aims, and doing stuffs or giving introductions to seniors is not something, they've come for.
Hostel is separate for girls and many sports such as badminton, volleyball, table tennis are available inside hostel. College campus has fields that can treated as cricket pitch. Gym is also available in hostel.
Hostel has a wifi which gets stopped during classes-hours. Wi-Fi gives good and effective speed. It has 24 hours of electricity availability.
The labs of college are okay.There're nothing bad or special about them. However, I am not so glad about the way they make us conducting lab experiments. We should know why, what and how we are doing.
College placement is as poor as mostly private colleges of AKTU. You can't depend on college for placement. You, as an individual, will have to help yourself, that's only when college may help you little.
Events and activities take place on almost every saturday and sunday.
The behavior of administration towards student is not very good as per my experience. Some of them like to stay in false fame.
The location of college is a serious issue. It's at a corner of city. The most little market to buy little stiffs is available at "Govindpuram Market" which is available at about 1.5 KM. You have to go further sometimes. There're only very few shops available in front of college. An ATM is also available at side of college which works fine sometimes.
As conclusion. Come to this college in case you are majorly depended on yourself. You can be frustrated to see few available students in your class including all branches. The college is not capable of doing anything much for you.
*I personally regret coming here almost every single day.
